This December, Chrissy's mom Marcia suffered increased complications from her MS. After a short hospital stay, Marcia went to a nursing home to recuperate. After several weeks it became clear that her health had reached a plateau, yet not at a level high enough to function independently at home. For the long haul, Marcia will be at the nursing home where her physical needs can be met.
We were able to visit Marcia each day of our trip and enjoyed her company. Casey, Gavin, and Liam drew her pictures to decorate the walls of her room.
