This weekend we received a couple inches of snow. To the boys' delight, we ventured outside to build a snowman. I tried to get them started by building a big mound of snow, explaining that this was the base layer. To my dismay, Casey, Gavin, and Liam each kicked the mound I created, just like how they kicked down the sand castles that I tried to help them build at the beach this summer. Oh well. However, snow angels were a different story. After I demonstrated the way to make a snow angels, the boys promptly got to work with their attempts at heavenly snow creatures.
